It does the job but… the fabric is flimsy, the stitching on the nude is white, and my least favorite is it hugs to close to my armpits ( the new garments don’t do that).
I wanted to love it, but the medium halftee does not cover the medium garment shoulder straps.
This one is not it. I was so excited for the scoop neck option for my Gs but it does not cover properly and moves around all the time so I’m always adjusting it to stay in place. The fabric for the nude color is so so thin and feels cheap and not worth nearly $30. I have other half tees and the quality is so different with this one. I’m so disappointed!
Okay I need to leave a review because sizing down made ALL the difference for me. I’m 5'2 and ordered an XS in the tank Halftees, and I honestly think sizing down is the best way to go if you want everything to stay lined up and covered well.
The fabric is super light, stretchy, and flowy, which I actually love because it’s comfortable and breathable. But because of that, when I originally tried a size that was too big, it didn’t have the same elasticity or hold. I found myself constantly adjusting my garments underneath to keep everything in place.
Once I sized down, it completely fixed the issue. Everything stayed tighter, smoother, and lined up exactly how I wanted without needing to adjust throughout the day. If you’re between sizes or want a more secure fit, I would definitely recommend sizing down.
I rated it so low because I paid $32 to fully cover
my LDS garment with the open sleeve. However, it did not. Facts: the LDS XL garment has a thicker strap, so to speak, than the medium garment. So while this scoop nect garment tank covers smaller, thinner strapped garment tops, it will not cover XL and I presume larger.
I kept the teoI bought because they still work beneath things where I only need neckline coverage. But plus size buyers beware. And perhaps the owners want to test this with 2x garments and see if its just me, or it's a common experience.

I purchased both the white and nude, and I'm so disappointed that they don't cover the garment straps. They're probably a quarter inch narrow on both sides. For the price, I'm extremely disappointed with the quality as well as being deceived into thinking these would work with the new open sleeve garments. These were way too expensive to get half of a shirt that doesn't even cover! They're useless.
The half shirt is a great color and I like the fabric! Unfortuntately though the band part on the bottom creates a very visible line underneath a fitted shirt — probably because I’m small chested (bra size 34B), so I’ll only wear it with loose fitting shirts.
I LOVE the nude color half tee. It doesnt draw too much attention under my slightly too narrow tanks 😉 They're thin material so it doesn't feel like I'm bulky wearing a lot of layers either. It's even reversible if you want lower in the front and higher in the back!

I LOVE THESE! One thing I’ve noticed with the Scoop Neck style is that the fabric is definitely lighter and thinner than their core line, but honestly I think that’s exactly why I love it. It feels SO lightweight and breathable, especially in the summer or when layering under tighter tops.
Yes, because the fabric is lighter, the lighter colors can feel a little more see through than the original core styles, but personally I would still choose that over a thick bulky layering piece every single time. It’s comfortable, flowy, and barely feels like you’re wearing an extra layer.
I also own the white in the Elegant Tank style, and that one does feel a little less see through overall. So if you want something with a bit more coverage or structure, I’d probably point you more toward that style. But if you want lightweight and barely there feeling, the Scoop Neck is SO good.

Yeah doesn’t quite cover garments without a ton of fiddling, which makes me feel it won’t stay put in everyday wear. Just needed it to be the smallest but wider to solve the issue! Also wish fabric was just a bit thicker as well—especially with the white. My garment & bra are pretty visible underneath.
The straps are slightly smaller than my g top. I wish they would cover it completely, it would be a lot more useful. It works really well when you’re wearing a sleeveless shirt and the armholes are too large. It makes it so you don’t see your bra etc. Thanks Half Tee!
