How To Style Patterns With Your Halftee!

How To Style Patterns With Your Halftee!

Have you ever seen a random stranger that sticks out like a sore thumb? Colors flash wildly in a clash of the titans painting a dreaded scene that murdered fashion. With one fateful blow her patterns strike in all their glory. Now, we don’t have to fall victim to the masquerade of mismatched patterns or color, nor should we be afraid to be bold in our choices. That’s why I will show you How To Style Patterns With Your Halftee!

Matching Complementary Colors

We can see in the photo on the left how the Red Brick Halftee compliments and accentuates the flowers of her Floral Sleeveless Blouse. All while not over-saturating with one color. In the photo on the right, we can see the same type of pairing with the Basic Black Halftee. The black matches smoothly with the leopard print making that red pop! Not to mention a great win for coverage for a modest look!

Expand Your Print Awareness

Being aware of what prints go well together is a must! For example, the picture on the left shows a striped shirt that goes well with the plaid as they both consist of straight lines complementing one another in harmony. The tans and browns of her skirt tie in the colors of her jacket making a fine pairing to be worn for a classy yet fun look! Another great tip to watch for is the size of the print. On the right we can see how the size difference of her prints complement one another while also giving a contrasted variation in her outfit. It’s best to find prints that are of the same family to pair.

Choose Which Color You Pop!

You can see in both of these pictures how much your outfit changes according to what solid color Halftee she’s wearing underneath. The black adds a sleek yet darker tone to the outfit while the white brightens up not only her outfit but her eyes! Try pairing according to the color you’d like to have pop!

Everyone Should Know This....

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room, or should I say cheetah? I mean leopard! What I meant to say was let’s talk about the difference between leopard, cheetah, and jaguar print. On the left, we have leopard print. The spots tend to be in the shape of a U or a varied O shape. In the middle we have cheetah print. Notice how the spots are solid and vary in size. On the right we have the jaguar which is almost a combination of the two. We have varied U shapes and what looks almost like spots blobbed together. Within the U shape we see accents of smaller varied spots. This is a great tip to know especially if you want to sound knowledgeable when describing your outfits whether it’s leopard, cheetah, or jaguar. Now you know the difference!
