Fall is here! Thatās right, you will soon experience the season in all its glory. Iām talking beautiful leaves, loud football games, ridiculous overload of pumpkin spice (I mean itās a little too much for me Iām just saying,) and most notably the chilly weather that makes us question what to wear in autumn. Get ready for ankle boots, sweaters, scarves, booties, and jackets.
But how do you put it all together? The key to transitioning from Summer to Fall is simple: LAYERING. And no, this doesnāt mean throwing a coat over everything and calling it a day! There are other ways to layer basic pieces and turn them into amazing ensembles. So letās take a look at some of my favorite autumn outfits to spice up your wardrobe and get you through this Fall.
Chunky Sweater + Short Skirt
Donāt put away your short skirts yet. Tuck a little of your chunky sweater into a skirt (or wear as is) to make it Fall ready. You can also choose to wear tights, ankle or knee-high boots to compliment the outfit (perfect for those early morning Starbucks run).

Turtleneck + Spaghetti Strap Dress
I know most of you have a turtleneck in your closet that youāve been saving for a brisk Autumn day. Well itās time to dig it out, then put a spaghetti strap dress or overalls over it. Waitā¦what! Believe it or not turtlenecks look a lot more chic this way. To go a step further, you can even try textured fabrics such as velvet or corduroy. Add chunky sneakers or booties to finish the look.

Shirt-Dress + Hat
Grab a shirt-dress or a sweater-dress for a quick and easy classic look. Add a short brim hat and/or a waist bag to create a slimming effect. Iāve also worn warm beanie hats with shirt-dresses for a casual look. Top it off with booties, knee-high boots, or sneakers.

Sleeveless Knit + Culottes
A warm sleeveless knit top is perfect for Fall. Pair it with culottes or a midi skirt and heels for a lean, towering look. To break up the look a little, add a belt (but I personally prefer a flowy outfit as pictured below).

Leather Jacket + Basically Anything
Who doesnāt love leather! A leather jacket is so versatile and can go with almost anything. For Fall, however, stick to muted tones and neutrals like yellow, burnt orange, deep purple, burgundy, brown, and black. Donāt be scared to mix and match different prints in these Fall shades.

Blazer + Cropped Jeans
A blazer should be a staple piece in your closet. Wear it with cropped jeans and heels for a business/casual look. Throw on a scarf of your choice for the perfect Fall accessory.

Bomber Jacket + Distressed Jeans
A bomber or a jeans jacket is a good option when you want something heavier than a cardigan but lighter than a full-on coat. I love pairing bombers with fitted, distressed jeans. Wear it with a relaxed or a crop top and any shoe you see fit.

Sleeveless Dress + Halftee
I have tons of sleeveless dresses and strapless jumpsuits that are too darn cute to be stuck in my closet this Fall. But guess what, Iāve found the PERFECT solution.Ā HalfteesĀ allows you to layer without looking bulky or getting super hot. Itās breathable, modest coverage, that comes in multiple colors, styles, and sleeve lengths. Huzzah! Seriously was excited about this, because the tees added effortless style to my outfits without the headache. Your welcome ladiesā¦
