Scrubs can keep you safe while working in a healthcare setting, regardless if you are interacting with patients or handling food, medical equipment, and more. There are a variety of suits to choose from, giving you more of a selection. To provide the scrubs with less of a uniform-type feeling, you can personalize the attire based on your preferences and regulations of the organization where you work. Below are some of the different ways you personalize your scrubs.
.1. Company Logo
Many medical professionals add the place they work at to their scrubs. Some medical institutions will offer the scrubs at a discounted rate, so it would be best to check your job before purchasing elsewhere. In addition to the company logo, you can add the name of the institution. When working for multiple companies, be sure to change scrubs before going to the next job. With company logos, you can choose plain color suits, or printed designs, as long as the stitching of the name and logos are visible.
.2. Add Your Profession
This allows you to stand out amongst other team members. For example, if you are a registered nurse and do not want to be mistaken for a doctor or x-ray technician, it would be a good idea to add your professional to your suit. You can spell out the words registered nurse or put the initials on the scrubs. In addition to adding your profession, you may want to add your name, so patients remember who you are. This could lower the odds of repeating your name or being mistaken for another profession. It is also an honor to have your title printed on your scrubs because of the hard work and dedication you sacrificed to train, study, and pass exams to achieve your position.

3. Sports Logos
Missing games doesn't mean you have to put up the school cheer or let your favorite professional teams down. You can buy scrubs with sports logos and represent your school alma mater or a famous athlete. These suits are great when there are championship games or rivalry sports week. Some medical facilities encourage staff to wear clothing and accessories during spirit week at the building, so it would be a good idea to have some personalized sports scrubs in your closet. You never know when one of your patients may be a graduate or student at the school you represent. Having something in common could make the experience more manageable and less stressful for the patient and you as a professional.

4. Add a Halftee
One of the easiest ways to add some style to your scrubs is by adding a Halftee. The great thing about a Halftee is that you don’t have to worry about adding extra bulk because they are a layering piece that only covers from the bust up. The different sleeve lengths of Halftees allows for extra coverage with different style options so you can find one that fits your personality.
.5. Animal Prints
If you are an animal lover and want to incorporate this into your scrubs, purchase personalized suits with a cat, dog, or other animals on the outside like zebra, cheetah, and leopard. There are also animal-printed scrubs to choose from, giving you more variety. The objective of purchasing customized suits or unique options is to bring your personality out and make you feel comfortable. Therefore, do not shy away from things that bring you joy when choosing a scrub, as long as you stay within the company's policy on accessories and attire. In addition to traditional animals, you can find suits with dinosaurs, unicorns, and more, which can be a big hit amongst patients.
.
6. Holiday Cheer
Personalization does not always include adding wording to your scrubs; you can find unique designs when purchasing suits. For instance, some scrubs have prints for different holidays and occasions, allowing you to celebrate the event while working hard. An example includes Halloween suits. Although dressing in costume each day may not be an option or a choice, you can still get in the holiday spirit by purchasing scrubs with various images on them, such as pumpkins, ghosts, witches, and more. Depending on your profession and exact work location, your scrubs may brighten a patient's day, such as a children's hospital or a retirement facility.
The personalization you choose will depend on preferences, titles, and the company's rules. However, the options mentioned above and can make it easier when selecting the customization. Remember to choose options that hold up well between washes while putting your personality into each scrub.
